for an event that includes inspirational presentations by successful
Latinas.

Student Career Fair
More than 2,000 university students from across South Texas attend the
annual event to discuss career opportunities and internships with
world-class corporations and government agencies. Although the focus is
on science, engineering and technology, the expo is open to other
fields.
Earn SHPE points by volunteering for any of the following activities:
- TOURS
- HESTEC Trailer Tours
-6 people needed from 8:30p.m. - 2p.m.
- Engineering
- 10 Volunteers needed from 10:30a.m. to 12 noon
- 10 Volunteers needed from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

HESTEC International
Expo
Thousands of parents and their children and members of the public
attend HESTEC International Expo at the UTPA campus for a day of
international educational exhibits, entertainment, tours and much more.
Earn SHPE points by volunteering for any of the following activities:
- Booth Setup
- Volunteers need from 12 noon to 3:00 p.m.
- SHPE Icecream booth 3:00 p.m. to Close
(POINtS will be earned per hour of volunteering
- SWE and EHS also need help with their booth
- NASA Meeting (same volunteers from the trainning)
- 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
(10 volunteers needed per hour)
- 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 Breakdown of Exhibits
