To the Society of Automotive Engineers. It is the premier engineering society composed of over 83,000 members in more than 97 countries worldwide from all engineering and scientific disciplines, as well as other professionals, who are dedicated to advancing mobility technology.  SAE members work together to further the research, development, design, manufacture, and utilization of land, sea, air, and space vehicles.  Student members make up nearly 20% of the SAE membership and are concentrated in over 400 Collegiate Chapters at engineering universities and colleges around the globe.
